With an added piece of music in manuscript pinned inside. Daniel Fenning was the author of a number of influential educational works in the mid to late 18th century including "The Universal Spelling Book", "A New Guide to the English Tongue" and " A New System of Geography", a number of which were imported for use in the colonies.
