Brookline, Massachusetts, 1964. Privately published, very rare surviving anniversary book published at the dedication of The Young Israel of Brookline June 14, 1964. Blue cloth with stamped gilt titles and decorations. Unnumbered pages - our estimate is about 125. Half of the book is given in to congradulatory advertisements. There is some text covering some events and the history of the shul. It's charter is also reproduced. There are many black and white photographs. This book is very similiar in look and style to a yearbook. A paper cover has kept the book clean and in great condition. Please email if you'd like to verify the name or photograph of someone you think may be in the book. Included: Mr. Samuel C. Feuerstein; David G. Margolis; Rabbi Emanuel Forman; Dr, Saul Isserow; Dr. Samuel Dershowitz; Mrs. Lillian Freeman; Joseph Abelow. Also includes photographs of the building, nursery school; there are also many candid photographs of dedication related events (most of which are not captioned with the names of the subjects.
