NY: The MacMillan Co., 1941. First printing. Hardcover. Good/good +. 6 x 8 in. Red cloth with white lettering and B&W print on cover. Pictoral endpapers and B&W illus. Condition is GOOD ; minor edge wear, covers very clean and nice, two tiny holes at spine. Front interior hinge has line of insect damage(not active) in the same spot. Binding tight and text very clean. Sides of text block have minor foxing. DJ is GOOD+ price-clipped, but $2.00 remains at lower flap. Edges worn with some chipping, very clean and spine very toned and hard to read. Lower spine has small open tear. Children's. Stax.
