London: Longmans, Green, and Co, 1894. First Edition. Fine. H. J. Ford. First edition, first printing of The Yellow Fairy Book edited by Andrew Lang and illustrated throughout by H. J. Ford. Finely rebound in Bath, England. Yellow polished leather over boards with gilded double rule borders, five slightly raised bands to spine, red and green labels, gilding all over. All edges finely gilt. Marbled end papers. Original covers bound in at the rear including front, spine, and rear covers. Solid and square binding. The interior is remarkably clean and clear.
