This book recounts the Hillary family trekking through the Himalayas with their children in 1966. The trip was to dedicate a much needed hospital in a remote mountain village but turned into much more than that as the faced many small problems of the undependable infrastructure, but got to enjoy the beauty of the mountains, the Sherpas, and how much the hospital and school meant to the area. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
