Frederick A. Stokes, New York., 1890. First edition. Quarto. pp [vi], 74. Twelve full-page illustrations by H.W. McVickar, as well as numerous illustrations by other artists. Poems, mostly of courtship, by Praed, Suckling, Locker, Dobson et al. Cloth ornately lettered in silver and with a colour pictorial inset in the shape of a heart. Top edge gilt.Fine in the scarce dustwrapper which is chipped and extensively torn but almost all present.
