About This Item
Worcester, MA: Horace Wyman, 1895. Bound in gray cloth, stamped in gold (gold on front panel still bright). This copy is signed by the author on the front free endpaper. This is a 20-page book, illustrated with actual sepia photographs. The book has loosened from the binding. Flowered endsheets. Some mottling to top edge of cloth. Also, with this sale is included the book, "Rufus Wyman 1778-1842; Morrill Wyman 182-1903" signed by Morrill Wyman Jr. Also, laid in are photos, postcards of the Old Parker Tavern in Reading, MA (The Wyman family had ancestors that were "Parkers" in MA) and a pamphlet, "Some remarks made at the Wyman Reunion, 2/24/1908 by Horace Wyman". The actual 20 pp. book by Horace Wyman is rare (no copies on OCLC/Worldcat - but two microfilm copies, presumably lacking the photographs and certainly all of the other laid in items). . Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good Only/No Jacket - As Published. Illus. by Photo Illustrated. Oblong 8vo.
