This is a special edition produced by Richard Ellis for the Book of the Month Club, orig. issued as part of a set with "Jane Eyre." We are offering ONLY "Wuthering Heights" here. Printing & binding by Kingsport Press of Tennessee, with illustrations printed letter press from electrotypes of the original wood engravings. Hardcover small 4to (7.75" x 10") has decorative paper (with woodcut illustration on both front & rear), with 1/4 green cloth-wrapped lettered in gilt. Condition is just Fair: VG: very clean inside with only mild page tanning, heavier around edges, but completely unmarked. However, a blank page in the front & the last 2 blank pages are partially torn out. Text block tight & square, but rear hinge is cracked.
