Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1895. Hardcover. Good+. 9 Volumes of a 13 volume set. Books are all bumped and worn at head and tail of spine and fore edge corners. Surfaces of several boards have discoloration spots. A few boards and spines have a few very small soil spots. "The Guardian Angel" has a heavily chipped paste-in title on spine. All others are intact. Each volume has a blind stamp on both the ffep and the title page as well as a penciled in name on the title page and small notation on rear paste-down. Pages are unmarked. Bindings are tight. Books have gold gilt top edge. The volumes included are: - The Autocrat of the Breakfast Table - The Professor at the Breakfast Table - The Poet at the Breakfast Table - Over the Teacups - Elsie Venner - The Guardian Angel - Pages From an Old Volume of Life - Medical Essays - Our Hundred Days in Europe/Index.
