London: Methuen & Co, 1952. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good +. Octavo. Blue cloth, gilt lettering on a red spine panel, pp. vi, 202. Small dent in the board of the lower inner corner of front cover, previous owner's small ink signature at head of front free endpaper, else very good copy in price-intact dust jacket, spine browned with nicks at head, heel and tips, slight soiling to lower panel with a 1 inch closed tear at head, otherwise good. Jacket designed by Charles Handley-Read.
