Ernest Benn Ltd, 1948. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1948. Second Impression. 383 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with a black and white illustrated frontis and black and white illustrations throughout. Moderate tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Ink marks to front endpaper and major water stains to rear endpaper and pastedown. Heavy ink marks and tanning to text block edges and both hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have visible ink marks, foxing and rubbing with heavy bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and major sunning to spine. The book is forward leaning with sunning to boards.
