Hardcover in pictorial illustrated paper-over-boards with cloth spine. 216 pages, being âA Series of Interesting Stories, Biographies, Papers on Natural History for the Young. Illustrated with upwards of 500 Engravings by the Best Artistsâ. Includes many full page sepia printed plates plus several in color. The rear end sheet has a list in pencil of over 100 neatly written names plus a signed (original?) short story. Rear hinge split but holding, a stray mark here and there with minor wear to covers, else good overall condition. NOT EX-LIBRARY. (froc)
