About This Item
New York: Harper & Brothers, 1929. First Edition, First Printing. Signed and inscribed by Stella Benson incorporating the printed half-title: “My dear Henriette and Chauncey, Here are as many WORLDS WITHIN WORLDS as I can get into one book - sent with as much love as the postman can carry, Stella, Jan. 29th 1929”. Very good copy without dust jacket. Stella Benson had several signed limited editions published but true signed personal presentation copies are rare. A scarce and important title with Benson’s travel essays dealing with China, Japan, and Korea.
