(i)-(9) 293 -589 pp. Illustrated with folding maps and charts. Includes appendices and an index. Bound in navy blue cloth, decorated in gilt lettering to the spine. Thick rule blind across top and bottom of the spine and front board. Blind stamp to the front board.
First edition of the fourth book in the five volume, six book set.
An overall very good to VG+ copy. Rubbing to boards and spine. Top edge of text block dust stained. The text block is aged toned. This copy has been collated and found complete with an errata slip tipped in at the half title. The book is unmarked with either names, inscriptions, notes, marginalia, highlighting, labels, or bookplates. A clear and removeable polyester cover has been added to protect the spine and boards.
