ORIGINAL LIMITED EDITION 1901 PRINTING. THIS IS # 246 OF LIMITED EDITION 1000 REGISTERED SETS. Kenilworth Edition. Beautiful color frontispiece on each volume. "The Cambridge Text with Historical and Analytical Prefaces Comments, Critical and Explanatory Notes, Glossaries, Life of Shakespeare, History of the Early English Drama and A Complete Index". Illuminated. PAGES CLEAN AND UNMARKED. Gilt top page edges. Covers (3/4 brown morocco leather over marbled boards, spines with four raised bands, five compartments with elaborate gilt stamping, two lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers) show light edge wear with light scuffs on leather. Bindings tight, hinges strong. Exceptions being: tearing on top spine and vertical crease on spine on volume 13 (INDEX). Vol. 12 has 1/4" tear on top spine edge. Vol. 3 has corner leather tearing on rear cover. A very well preserved set.; 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed! Ships same or next business day!
