Bound in half morocco with cloth boards. Newly printed for the Shakespeare Head Press and sold for the Press by Basil Blackwell. A complete collection of the works of William Shakespeare, beginning with the plays arranged in chronological order of their composition, then the poems, with a glossary to the rear. Illustrated with a frontispiece of Shakespeare from the Droeshout portrait. With a prize bookplate from Elstree school, dated 1936. In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd mark to the cloth. Light fading to the cloth at the head of the front board. Bookplate to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with a touch of age toning. Very Good Indeed
