Contemporary (original) full red morocco straight grained morocco leather with elaborate gilt border on boards with edges of covers gilt dentalled. Raised bands on spine with comparmented tooled desins. Spine is slightly darkened from use. Leather at spine & front board starting to split. All edges gilt. Gilt inner dentelling. Bookplate of Alexander Bannatyne, Wodsdown, Limerick." behind front cover. Former owner's name on front free endpage in ink. Strings visible between pages 268 & 269 with the text block starting to pull away. Overall in GOOD condition. . Full Morocco Leather. Good. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. Hardcover.
