Printed on fine, hand-made, W M and floral watermarked paper. Uncut, deckled edges. Colophon. [ii], 1 (map), [i] 177 (including indices), [iii] pp. Preface by William Morris and Eiríkr Magnússon. Full-page map of Iceland. Chronology list. Indices at back of Personal Names, Place Names, of Things, Periphrastic Expressions in the Songs, Proverbs and Proverbial Sayings, and a long explanation of the Notes and Corrections to previous translations. First printed in 1869. Finished on the 3rd day of August, 1901 Corners chipped. Scuffing to back board. Spine yellowed. Condition overall: Near Fine.
