Spines slightly faded, minor rubbing to extremities. Internally fairly bright and clean. Tarr notes that 'as supplies of certain volumes were exhausted, they were reissued, and apparently were arbitrarily either dated or undated. Since the records of Chapman and Hall have been destroyed, it is impossible to ascertain the frequency of these reissues or to establish any pattern of dating". Tarr D7. Reprint.
