Attractively bound in 3/4 period brown morocco over marbled boards, spines with raised bands and gilt ruling, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers (spines a bit sunner; minor wear). 9 volumes, complete as issued. The set is composed of 7 volumes of 'The Poetical Works of John Greenleaf Whittier'; and 2 volumes of 'Life and Letters of John Greenleaf Whiitier'. Issued 1891-1894.B/w Illustrations.
