About This Item
London: G.G. and J. Robinson, and J. Edwards, 1798 First collected edition of Walpole's (1717-1797) works, superintended by Mary Berry (1763-1852), Walpole's young protégé. Mary was a life-long journal writer, and her journals and letters have been praised in recent years for the light they throw on women's history.
