About This Item
London: Henry G. Bohn, 1855. An attractive 4 volume set. Half leather with marbled boards and page edges. Volumes 1 & 2 are in nice condition. Volumes 3 & 4 are in less nice condition due to the top 1.5 inch of leather spine is pulled away from binding and volume 4 is missing the "Rabelais" paste on that the other 3 volumes have. A very rare example of the 4 volume set, not perfect but solid, attractive and readable.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket.
