London: Kegan Paul, Trench & Co, 1883. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo. Full brown morocco with gilt spine lettering. Very light fade to spine and light rubbing to board edges. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Ink name and small pasted-in news clipping to the first blank. Stain to lower portion of the frontis portrait, with trace staining to bottom edge of text block, not affecting the text or margins, no staining to text. Ink quote to rear blank in neat hand. A very good copy overall.
