1874. Henry S. King, London. 1874. Ten volumes bound in five. Small 8vo, full dark blue calf, raised bands and contrasting tan title and author labels with gilt type to spines, gilt rule frames to boards; all page edges gilt. Marbled end-papers. Differing frontis. to each vol. with very fine portrait photograph of Tennyson tipped in Vol. I-II. Slight wear to extremities esp. to heads of spines with some shallow scratches to boards. Labels removed, quite cleanly, from front paste-downs. Very clean and bright internally, a lovely little set overall.
