In a full tree calf prize binding from 'Dulwich College' with the school's gilt crest to the front. Raised bands and gilt text and details. Illustrated with a monochrome portrait frontispiece. This prize book features the complete collection of works by the celebrated Alfred Lord Tennyson. Tennyson, the Poet Laureate during the Victorian era, is one of the most popular poets of his time and wrote profusely, resulting in the large collection of poetry featured in this complete collection of his works. In a full calf prize binding. Externally very smart with slight marks to the boards, slight cracking to the spine, rubbing to the joints, fading to the spine and front joint starting slightly. Prize label from 'Dulwich College' to the front pastedown with light marks. Internally firmly bound with bright pages and spotting to the front and rear only. Very Good Indeed
