A poetry collection in a full morocco binding, with gilt detailing to the spine and square. All edges gilt. Binder's stamp of Mudie to the verso of the rear free end paper. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece, engraved by G. J. Stodart from a photograph by J. Mayall. A collection of the works of Alfred Lord Tennyson, the notable English poet who was Poet Laureate for much of Queen Victoria's reign. This lovely anthology includes popular poems such as 'The Lady of Shallot', 'Enoch Arden' and 'Idylls of the King'. In a full morocco binding. Externally smart, with minor rubbing to the extremities and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the first couple of pages. Near Fine
