Unclipped ($27.99) jacket is "as new" and protected with removable mylar cover. Colin Powell (1937-2021) was born in NYC to parents who immigrated from Jamaica. A child of immigrants who, during a 35 year military career, rose to the rank of four-star general. Powell was the first Black secretary of state (2001 - 2005), was US national security advisor (1987- 1989) and became chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1989 - 1993). The Joint Chiefs of Staff position is the highest military position in the US Department of Defense. A must read for those wishing to run for public office. As Mr Powell said, "Do your best - someone is watching." 6x9.5 in. 283 pg.
