Illustrated with forty-eight photographic plates. Complete with half title, appendix, and two leaves of publisher's catalogue to rear, In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine. Dust wrapper unclipped and smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly chipped to head of spine, darkened to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to fore edge affecting only occasional leaf, pages otherwise generally bright and clean. Plate facing p. 30 loose but present. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
