Wellington: John Mackay, Government Printer. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1899, 1897. First Edition. Hardcover. Some rubbing to boards. Patch of discolouration to cloth on front board. Some foxing to folding map of North Island in "Wonderland". Both maps in "Waikare-Moana" very good and clean, without tears. 8 blank fly leaves bound in at rear. Binder's rubber stamp on front endpaper "Bound by Askew & Co., Zion Street, Plymouth".; Two titles bound in one volume. Green cloth boards. Page dimensions: 214 x 138mm. Spine titled in gilt: "GEYSERLAND. - N. Z." The first title is "Wonderland" by Margaret Bullock (1899). This has the original printed pink front wrapper bound in, but does not have the unprinted pink rear wrapper. vi, [2], 66 pages + 12 plates + 1 folding map. The second title is "Waikare-Moana" by Elsdon Best (1897). Original pink paper wrappers bound in. viii, 66 pages + colour frontispiece map + 11 plates + 1 large folding map at rear. Pages (iii) - iv follow page viii, as described in Bagnall. [References: Bagnall B1721; B757] ; 8vo .
