New York: D. Appleton & Co., 1897. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo. xiii + 295pp with 17 b/w plates and numerous illustrations throughout text. Hardcover No Dust jacket. Half Leather with marbled board binding in good condition with some shelf wear and rubbing to top and bottom of spine and along all edges. Inside previous owners signature on front FFE paper but otherwise a lovely clean copy for its age. pages x and xi uncut.
