GOOD+ copy, covers gently toned with some slight foxing, illustration on pp.31-2 (fig.4) has been cut out, additionally pp.31-2 has been removed from binding and re-taped onto p.30 verso, otherwise internally very good. Ink initials on half-title of English Establishment artist Sir Lawrence Gowing (1918-1991), from whose library this was acquired . Good. Soft cover. 1st Edition. 1944.
