About This Item
New York: Green Circle Books, 1938. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good -/Good. The interior of the book is clean and tight. There is a strip of discolouration on the front and back fixed end papers, where the glue used in binding is starting to show through, but no other marks. The green coth covers are fresh, with light wear and rippling on the spine. The dust jacket, though, is only in Good condition, with chips, short tears and overall wear. The attached scan gives a better idea of conditon. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: Barry Weston "warned Steve moley, a rich philanderer, that Barbara Dawn, whose father's ranch, the Cinchbuckle, was one of the largest in the West, was above his annoying attentions. Steve, secure in the fact that being Judge Moley's son would save him from harm, eggs Barry on to fight -- the outcome being that Barry has to hidoe out on the plains to escape biased justice" and clear his name.
