Large ocatvo (24.25cm.); original parchment-backed boards, upper cover embossed in black and gilt, gilt-lettered spine, in green paper-covered slipcase, decorative paper label to upper cover printed in green; [2],xi,[1],184pp. Parchment spine a bit toned, a few tiny spots to upper cover, slipcase a bit edge-worn and unevenly faded along extremities, a later owner has unfortunately written "Thos. Hardy" in large sharpie on slipcase spine. Still, Near Fine in About Very Good slipcase. PURDY, p. 262.
