The author was the most successful RAF fighter ace in the Second World War, flying Spitfires from the Battle of Britain through to VE Day, but he is honest and modest about the difficulties he experienced, especially at the start of his flying career. Brief foreword by Douglas Bader. Fine in near Fine protected jacket. Jacket front bright and clean, very light handling marks to back, . A very nice copy. Pictures available
