FIRST EDITION THUS, octavo, black heavy boards, gilt lettering to spine, 256pp, VG (light bruising to extrems, moderate to heavy discolouration to spine & boards, light tanning & foxing to page edges & eps, prev. owner's name in ink to ffep, occasional light foxing to pages, 1cm closed tear to top edge of pg97, minor vertical wrinkling to some page edges) in d/w, VG- (price clipped, light creasing & chipping to edges with obvious heavy tape reinforcement to edges- moderate tape staining also, heavy chipping & tearing to spine, moderate foxing & soiling to rear)
