John Murray, 1929. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1929. Third Edition. 621 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with embossing to front board. Black and white frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Binding is shaky, but all pages remain attached. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text and plates remain clear. Heavy cracking to front hinge. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with some pencil annotations throughout. Boards have light edgewear, with minimal denting, and mild bumping to corners. Edges are mildly sunned, heavier to spine. Spine ends are noticeable crushed and split. Faint black mark to rear board.
