Top edge gilt and fore edge uncut. 420 pps. with index; publisher's catalogue at rear. Ten plates in photgravure and numerous illustrations in the text. Very handsome biography of Shakespeare, tight and clean, light toning to the suede but all gilt bright. Small prev. own. sig. ffep of a member of the Lippincott family. Quite nice indeed.
