About This Item
London: Anthony Blond, 1960. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. King was an extremely successful clairvoyant and psychometrist who practised his "strange profession" in London's upscale Mayfair district.. Many of his predictions and prognostications were confirmed by later historical events. This copy is inscribed by the author on the front end paper. There is some toning to the first blank page, and some foxing to outer edges. The slightly lurid mauve jacket, with its cover photo of William King by Michael Peto, has not been price clipped.
