This work is the recounting of the amazing story of a man who spent most of his life capturing wild animals wanted by the zoos of this world. Peter Ryhiner was a hunter "without guns". His journeies led him around the globe where he captured and sold thousands of animals to zoos and wildlife parks. His intention was never to harm, but to study and learn and educate others. Conservation laws and greater restrictions spelled the end to these kinds of endeavors. Peter Rhynier was one of the best. A great read, filled with numerous black and white photographs.

Mylar protected.
