1944 copyright. FIRST EDITION. Hardbound. Dust jacket has significant tears but covers the whole book. Brown boards with yellow writing are in very good condition. Bottom spine is bumped, otherwise there is little to no wear. Previous owner's name is blacked out on first end paper. Book pages are in very good condition--clean, not torn, and the corners are not folded. Spine is tight. Comes from a nonsmoking collection.
