Hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, 129 pages including many drawings throughout and several garden plans, plus Glossary, Plant Index, and Index to Lartin Names; very gently used ex-library copy with ghosts of clear tape on covers, but not a trace of cover edge wear, corners crisp and square, rubber stamps on title page and in margins of three text pages, most of free back endpaper (presumably with card pocket ) removed, tiny label on fixed back endpaper, but tight in binding, otherwise very clean and unmarked throughout; DJ also very clean and unmarked except for usual spine label, but outside of easily removed library mylar protector, exceptionally bright and colourful with wraparound art of numerous wild flowers in a garden setting. See also our listings for Jane Brown's The Pursuit of Paradise: A Social History of Gardens and Gardening, and for Josephine Addison's Treasury of Flower Lore, with watercolour paintings by Cherry Hillhouse (buy two or more and save on postage!)...
