Cape Town: Oxford University Press 1950, a numbered copy from a limited edition of 100. (Hardcover) 94 plates, xvii pp. Very good, no dust jacket. Signed by the author. Blue leather. All edges gilt, map frontispiece, 94 color plates, index. The cover is scuffed at the corners and the top and bottom of the spine, the boards are a bit splayed, and there are tape-stains around the edges of the endpapers, also there is a previous owner's name and date on the front endpaper. Text by T.M. Salter. Foreword by J.C. Smuts. Locale: South Africa. (Natural History, Botanical Illustration--South Africa, Botany--South Africa, Flowers, Wild Flowers--South Africa).
