Hodder & Stoughton, 1942. Hardcover. Good/Good. 1942. First Edition Thus. 211 pages. Dust jacket over grey cloth. Black and white illustrations throughout. Pages are faintly tanned with mild foxing. Mild cracking to front hinge, however binding remains firm. Mild thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Some illustrations have been coloured in. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable foxing to boards. Mild sunning to board edges and mild tanning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Book has forward lean. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Notable foxing. Moderate rubbing and marking all over.
