Unpaginated [23]pp.; cloth-backed marbled boards with title label on front cover; square 4to; 13 full page photographs, black & white, two in color; facing text. Minor edge wear to boards; ownership label of [Jim] Robertson-Montgomery on rear endpaper From the library of Jim Robertson, Yolla Bolly Press, Covelo California. This a relic of his early working library during the 1960's with Bruce Montgomery and their printing & design firm, Robertson-Montgomery at 300 Broadway, San Francisco. First book appearance by master photographer Wynn Bullock [1902-1975]. Philosophical concepts, such as his depiction of 'all four dimensions of reality', and a 'theory of opposites' in which nothing can exist without it's opposite, are expressed in his images. .
