About This Item
London: Heinemann, 1985. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with no marks or signatures. The blue covers are fresh, with light wear/rubs at tips and corners. The gilt spine lettering is still shiny. The dust jacket has a price clip on the bottom corner of the front flap, but is otherwise in very good condition, again with light wear but no tears or missing paper. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "It is the Birdman and the children who discover the whale stranded on the sand. They beg the islanders to help them to rescue it, but to them it is the harvest of the sea and theirs to kill. To stop them and to lift the curse of Samson forever the Birdman has to reveal his secret.
