"Thirty-nine famous OZ books are briefed in this one permanent volume, which includes, too, brief biographies of L. Frank Baum, creator of OZ, and of the other authors and illustrators, as well as anecdotes about the creation of the stories. There are more than 500 illustrations and 650 type descriptions of OZ characters. All the illustrations have been reproduced from the original drawings." A very good copy, clean with no markings. The bright pictorial dust jacket is price clipped, scratch to the back panel, with a crease to the front flap and a few small edge chips. In a new protective mylar cover. A nice looking copy..
