Publisher's Note (as quoted from the 18th edition): "Who's Who of American Women 1993-1994" is the one essential reference to depend on for accurate & detailed facts on American women of achievement. This new edition includes in-depth biographical profiles of more than 28,000 prominent, accomplished women -- more than 15,000 new entries are included & an additional 13,000 are updated with the most current information. First seven volumes on decorative boards with blue cloths spines and gilt titles. 18th edition (1993-1994) has white leatherette cover with black titles. Set is overall in Fine+ condition, ranging from Near Fine to Near New. Light marginalia in some volumes. 11th edition, in addition to gift inscription, has a few news clippings taped to pages of front matter. Some volumes (v. 12, 13 and 16) have previous owner name, address and a couple of decals on title page. A printed prayer is taped opposite title page of 13th edition. Minor creases on first several pages of 18th edition. Otherwise, an occasional smudge and minor shelf wear with slight corner and spine bumps to covers.. Blue Cloth. Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
