South Brunswick and New York: A. S. Barnes and Company, 1972. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very good. 157pp. Octavo [22 cm] 1/4 brown cloth over tan boards. Gilt stamped title on the spine. In a clipped dust jacket with moderate soiling. Joe Hill was executed by a firing squad at the old territorial prison in Salt Lake City in what became known as the "shot heard round the world" setting off labor riots in major U.S. cities and capitals around the world. Joe Hill's last words were "don't mourn, organize". Joe Hill along with Mother Jones and Big Bill Heywood were the most famous of all the anarchist wobbly leaders of the early 20th century.
