First Edition 1st printing of Paul Foot's meticulously researched book on the A6 murder of Michael Gregson in 1961 and which led to the conviction and subsequent hanging of James Henratty for the crime in April 1962. The evidence of the trial itself was not; as set out by the author; sufficient to secure a safe conviction and the wealth of new evidence from his 5 years research concludes it was a miscarriage of justice. VG/VG (Book- Minor general shelf wear. No previous owner name or insc. Binding sound.
