Hardback, 1939, first edition, containing 10 pullout maps, published by Oxford University Press at the Clarendon Press. Some scuffing and marking to cover but dark blue colouring still quite vivid and gilt lettering and design on spine very clear; rubbing and signs of shelf-wear to boards and spine, a couple of bumped corners; front inner hinge loose although still just attached; page edges with some marking and slight foxing towards extremities, nevertheless reasonably clean for the most part although a stain is visible at the top of the outer edge; page surfaces generally clean with no underling, marginalia, etc., a nice copy.Reviews
